Atturo AZ850 im Test

“Atturo AZ850 road track review I was very surprised how well the tire was holding up considering the price of these. I was running the Michelin PS4s before in a staggered set up and changed wheels and went with an affordable daily tire . Track use at Barber Motorsportspark in Nov this year, dry but cold conditions. Tires are mounted on a 2016 Mustang ROUSH St1 (670hp). Tires heated up well and generated good grip through some of the long turns. Big noticeable downside is the noice, tires started squeaking very easy and then hold up grip for quite some more pushing. Overall difficult to find the grip limit for me. Tire was good on the breaks and could provide grip accelerating out of Connor’s. I feel the downside is the grip in the corner especially on the smaller front tires. Anyway, I was surprised the tire worked well for 7 sessions with 20min on the track. Since it was the first time for me to be at barber at was not able to get under 1:47 but considering the weight of the car I felt comfortable and still fast with such a low budget tire. Now tire looks like I could use it for one more weekend so also this seems fair for the price. Overall good tire for the price with good handling but I m sure with the Michelin PS4s I would have probably gained 1-2sec.”

“Atturo AZ850 Review I thought I would post a small review for these tires since I couldn’t find much info or reviews online. They were $97 a piece. The ride is excellent, quiet, traction is solid, and they are speed rated Y (186mph). The tread/sidewall looks similar to the Cooper Tires RS3 I had in the past. I also had some Nitto NT555G2s on a charger I had 2 years back, and the traction was horrible on those and pretty disappointed since those were $250 a piece. Overall pretty happy with these, and great budget tire. I’ll update how these handle in the rain if anyone is interested.”

“Beware of Atturo AZ850 Tires Please refer to my original post on this subreddit: Now, tell me why I thought it was a good idea to listen to these folks on this subreddit talkin about "Check out the Atturo AZ850". I put 1000 miles on these tires and it rained a good 3-4 days within those 1000 miles. THESE TIRES ARE THE WORST IN RAIN, WET, HUMID CONDITIONS This is not even a racing tire. I get a little sprinkle of water on the road and you can feel it lose traction. A little bit of gas and you can see the gates of hell. I had Continental DWS06 previously I can get tell you I'm going to buy me another pair because this was a waste of time and money. You get what you pay for, but I do not recommend it and whoever talked highly of these tires in the original post outta be ashamed of yourselves. Continental DWS06 has been the best in wet conditions and hooks. These tires are garbage. Save yourself some time and trust my word because those people who recommended these Atturo tires had to be trolling. Probably drive a SXT talkin about, "oH yEaH maN thEy HooK". Worst tires ever 0/10.”

“Atturo has a few different tires that are a good fit for a Mustang, depending on what your needs are. Just remember that the AZ850 is really a summer tire and should not be used when temps go below 50 degrees F. “New Tires and car wobbling??? Hi guys Anyone have experience with atturo tires? Just went from Michelin to Atturo AZ850 and the grip is fine in a straight line, even if I wobble the steering wheel. As soon as I accelerate to the left or right hard, the car wobbles. Hard to describe, but feels like it's shifting weight left and right and feels unstable. Any thoughts? Shit tires or need to wait for a break-in period? Or a balancing issue? Thanks”
