Hankook Dynapro AT2 vs Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 — im Vergleich

“The OEM Hankook AT2 tires on an F150 are really just an overweight LT tire going through a midlife crisis. There are LT tires that likely perform better in all categories combined while being half a dozen or more pounds lighter. They are the epitome of mediocrity, the AT should stand for A ll T ypes of pavement. Soft ride, decent mileage for AT badging don't make up for sloppy wet braking, mid tier handling an allergy to mud traction and lame tread life. I'm down to 6/32 after 50,000km (31,000 miles) of less than spirited driving, they start at 14/32. The tread wear alone makes these tires damn near twice as costly as KO2s to run. They were passable in winter, better than the KO2s which turn into skates when the thermometer drops Solid 5.5/10”

“I replaced my BFGoodrich MT T/A tires on my Wrangler with Hankook AT2 Extreme's, and what a difference. I will say I was consistently getting 50k+ miles out of my MT T/A, doing a 5 tire rotation. I'm 8,000 miles in on the AT2's, and there is zero sign of wear. I do have a bit of wobble in my steering wheel now due to the tires needing a balance and rotation, but other than that, I have been very impressed. My wife's mind was blown that our jeep was so much quieter, and we could have a conversation at highway speed without having to yell over the tire noise. These things are practically silent. The off-road performance is greatly improved. Where the MT's would lose traction on mountain trails, the AT2's keep their grip and keep me moving.”

“I've loved mine on a 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness. I came from Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S which I loved but that found one too many nails. No issues after 30,000 miles on the Hankooks. I had some Dynapro MT's back on a FJ Cruiser which I loved so that's why I decided to try them again. “GEOLANDAR A/T G015 Anyone running these on 17" rims, stock or other? I have Enkei M52 rims, 17x7.5 and 45mm offset. What size fits without rubbing? 215/60R17 looks to be the closest, the only other size close is 225/65R17 which I think will be too big without a lift. I am open to other suggestions for off-road capable tires that will mainly be used on-road. K02 is out because they don't fit without rubbing, and I plan to add flaps at some point and do not want to lift the vehicle or get different rims.”

“Changing tires (General Grabber AT3 vs Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015) Halloo I am about to pick my RR next month from the dealer and I am thinking if it is a good idea to change tires. Here is the context: I am buying the RR because I always wanted to drive a truck and I love American cars in general (I also have Mustang s197 V8). In fact I want to switch from Wrangler Sahara, which is a great car BTW, however after 4 years and only 20.000 miles I know I miss more comfort. The rest of my family even more ;-) 95% of my trips is on reagular roads, city cruising. Sometimes some rural paths (no heavy offroading). My Wrangler came with Duelers, which I replaced with Yokohama A/T G015. The difference was night and day as far as wet and cold. Here in POLAND we have two seasons: it is either hot and wet or cold and wet. Winter in my area is pretty light, however I go to the mountains once a year. So the question is: As I do not know how General Grabber AT3 works, but I trust Yokohoma G015, is the change the tires worth it?”

“Anyone here running Yokohama Geolandar A/T4 G018's? Any complaints or regrets (road noise, balancing issues, etc.), specifically in SL load? Currently have the Geolandar A/T G015's on my 4th gen and am considering the A/T4's next. All the real feedback (non-commercial reviews) I've been able find on here and other forums seem to be pretty old and mostly by people without a ton of miles on them. My use case is about 90% on road with the remaining 10% on mild to moderate trails. Not a rock crawler and never will be. The G015's in SL load have been pretty perfect but I've been thinking about changing to the A/T4's next for slightly better off road performance. Main concern (aside from weight, which is why I'm looking to stay with SL instead of C) is wet pavement safety since I drive my young kids pretty much daily. I only have a roof rack, so not too much added weight.”
