Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 vs Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S — im Vergleich

“GEOLANDAR A/T G015 Anyone running these on 17" rims, stock or other? I have Enkei M52 rims, 17x7.5 and 45mm offset. What size fits without rubbing? 215/60R17 looks to be the closest, the only other size close is 225/65R17 which I think will be too big without a lift. I am open to other suggestions for off-road capable tires that will mainly be used on-road. K02 is out because they don't fit without rubbing, and I plan to add flaps at some point and do not want to lift the vehicle or get different rims.”

“Changing tires (General Grabber AT3 vs Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015) Halloo I am about to pick my RR next month from the dealer and I am thinking if it is a good idea to change tires. Here is the context: I am buying the RR because I always wanted to drive a truck and I love American cars in general (I also have Mustang s197 V8). In fact I want to switch from Wrangler Sahara, which is a great car BTW, however after 4 years and only 20.000 miles I know I miss more comfort. The rest of my family even more ;-) 95% of my trips is on reagular roads, city cruising. Sometimes some rural paths (no heavy offroading). My Wrangler came with Duelers, which I replaced with Yokohama A/T G015. The difference was night and day as far as wet and cold. Here in POLAND we have two seasons: it is either hot and wet or cold and wet. Winter in my area is pretty light, however I go to the mountains once a year. So the question is: As I do not know how General Grabber AT3 works, but I trust Yokohoma G015, is the change the tires worth it?”

“Anyone here running Yokohama Geolandar A/T4 G018's? Any complaints or regrets (road noise, balancing issues, etc.), specifically in SL load? Currently have the Geolandar A/T G015's on my 4th gen and am considering the A/T4's next. All the real feedback (non-commercial reviews) I've been able find on here and other forums seem to be pretty old and mostly by people without a ton of miles on them. My use case is about 90% on road with the remaining 10% on mild to moderate trails. Not a rock crawler and never will be. The G015's in SL load have been pretty perfect but I've been thinking about changing to the A/T4's next for slightly better off road performance. Main concern (aside from weight, which is why I'm looking to stay with SL instead of C) is wet pavement safety since I drive my young kids pretty much daily. I only have a roof rack, so not too much added weight.”

“They Discontinued My Tire! I've been using Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s forever. For some reason Cooper, in it's infinite wisdom, has discontinued the 265 75r 16 size so I need a replacment. I'm in Southern California and do quite a bit of wildlife habitat restoration work in dry desert conditions. This involves lots and lots of highway miles as well as dirt roads from good to, on what planet is this a road. Occasionally we are even driving up dry washes, trying to avoid all the nasty sidewall eating rocks and spiny bushes. The tread on the discoverer is pretty modest and quite on the highway but when aired downed, runs well in sandy conditions. They even work pretty well in rocky conditions. The other thing is they wear really well. Ive got 60k+ miles on my current set and can squeeze another 10k out of them if I have to. So to the point, Im looking for suggestions for a replacment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.”

“New tires: Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S Needed a 3PMSF tire and these Coopers edged out the Wildpeak AT3Ws based on wear rating and highway performance. Also, Cooper has a promo right now for a $70 mail in rebate. MPG has been about the same, maybe slightly better. Visually, I like them, more rugged than the stock Falkens. “New tire advice from people who know about cooper Ive had these discoverer at3 4s since 2022. I need to replace them and ive heard they stopped making them. Before this it had discoverer RTX and discoverer LSX tires. The ones people are saying kinda took over are the road and trail AT but they look way more offroad styled then the at3s did. I dont drive offroad but i dont want strictly highway tires. I do drive on the highway though and haul a bit does cooper have anything else or is the road and trail AT a good replacement? Read more”
